Effective Jewish education has never been more important, but reaching the next generation has never been more difficult.

What we're doing next

Solving the challenges in Jewish education with Ji 2.0

We’ve spoken to teachers, parents, school managers and educators around the world. Some of them use Ji. Some of them don’t. But we hear them identify the same issues over-and-over-and-over, regardless of country or religious observance.

So, in collaboration with our users and stakeholders, we’ve embarked on Ji 2.0, focused on solving or working around the challenges which reduce access to high quality Jewish & Hebrew education.

Interdisciplinary Game Design Project and Study

Three US-based schools participated in the Ji Interdisciplinary Game Design Project (IGDP) and Study. There were two aims for the study:

Does Ji Tap increase knowledge, understanding and engagement in Jewish Studies?
Can Ji Tap serve as a model for expanding the breadth and depth of Jewish Studies through interdisciplinary collaboration?

The conclusion was that Ji Tap is an innovative gamification program that has much potential to help in Judaics, STEM subjects, and general learning at elementary and middle school.
