Description

Learn the differences between look-alike Hebrew letters!

Developed as a course and aimed at children aged 5 and 6, this series within the Ji Alef-Bet series is a remedial course for children to happily learn the difference between look-alike Hebrew letters that are commonly confused.

This Mish Mash series is designed as a remedial course to help students who confuse the similarly-shaped letters in the Hebrew alphabet. The stories emphasize the differences between the letters, and the exercises that follow the story provide practice in recognizing and discriminating between the commonly confused letters.

We chose to continue the idea of the pop-up book from the first Ji Alef-Bet series. However, this book folds out, so that we can easily compare the letters that present difficulty to the child.

The stories and instructions are in English as this course was designed not only for ‘Sunday’ schools and cheders, but for families with young children, whose parents do not necessarily know Hebrew.

This beautifully illustrated book will guide you through teaching each letter, with tips and tricks to help the young child remember the letters and the differences between them.

Rich Jewish Content

The words selected for inclusion in this series were carefully chosen for their connection to the festivals, the Tanach, or with Jewish values. The values that we teach in the letter animations are also carefully constructed for young children to understand: giving charity, welcoming friends, and other mitzvot.
