My Online Practice Siddur is a handy tool for children and parents to learn prayers / tefilot together. The prayers are divided into the grades in which they are introduced. We have voiced each prayer. If there is a tune for the prayer, we have included the song.
Get ready for a fun-filled Chanukah! Set up your own menorah each day. Just spin the dreidel to get the color of your next candle. Then light the candles with the friendly Menorah as your guide. Sing Chanukah songs together with your family and earn lots of Chanukah gelt and gifts.
"Tu Bishvat is here now, the festival of trees!"
You have the power of Tu Bishvat! Now plant your own fruit trees in your own magical garden, and watch them grow. 'Make it Grow' is a fun, engaging app that encourages young children (aged 3-5) to explore nature in a new creative way, while learning about the Jewish festival of Tu Bishvat, when we plant trees and care for the earth. This app is a collaboration between Jewish Interactive and PJ Library.
WHEN YOU SEE A GOOD DEED, PUT IN A SEED!
Encouraging children to look for the good in other people and to see the good deeds that their friends and family are doing. Each time the child sees someone doing a mitzvah or good deed, they record it in a seed which they drag into a pomegranate. As they fill the pomegranate with good deeds, they come closer to the concept of “Love your neighbor as yourself”.
Encouraging children to be thankful for what they have, this app teaches the quality of gratitude. Every morning, Jews wake up and say the prayer Modeh Ani, where we say thank you for a new day. Children learn Modeh Ani and fill in leaves on their ‘Tree of Thanks’ recording what they are grateful for everyday.
We invite you to virtually experience the Jewish festival of Sukkot. Earn shekels by exploring the original blueprints of the Torah texts and the discussions of ancient Jewish sages, and then use these clues as a guide to find the Arba Minim and to build a sukkah.
Ji Connect celebrates the diversity of the Jewish people, connecting Jews around the world. Users tap people at the Western Wall in Jerusalem and are transported to their countries to look at their synagogues, history and customs. They hear how they welcome the Shabbat in that country, and how they sing the song ‘Lecha Dodi’. It is a tool to encourage pride in identity, tolerance, and to celebrate cultural similarities and differences.
