This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs your use of the licensed application (“Application”) created by Jewish Interactive, Inc., a New York not-for-profit corporation exempt from federal income taxation pursuant to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, with offices at Neot Deshe 5.2, David’s Village, Mamilla, Jerusalem 94121, Israel (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The Privacy Policy applies to all visitors, users, and any others who access the Application (“user” “you,” or “your”). Provider is operated for charitable and educational purposes to support and encourage dynamic Jewish learning in children by providing them with interactive multimedia educational programs and materials on Jewish subjects through the creation, development and/or distribution of programs and materials.
1. What Information Does the Application Obtain?
The Application does not permit registration and will not ask you to provide us with any information.
The Application collects certain aggregated, anonymized data automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the Application (“Aggregate Data”). We utilize third party analytics tools that collect Aggregate Data as well. The Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.
2. How Is Aggregate Data Used? Do Third Parties See or Have Access to Information Collected by the Application?
We may collect, use and transmit to third parties Aggregate Data for market research purposes and to continue to improve the quality of our products and services. We reserve the right to sell or trade your Aggregate Data with third parties as described in this Privacy Policy. In addition, we may disclose Aggregate Data:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with our trusted services providers and partners who have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy; or
- if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
3. What Are My Opt-Out Rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your device.
4. Data Retention Policy
We or the third parties described here may retain automatically collected information for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter for market research purposes and to continue to improve the quality of our products and services.
5. Children
We do not use the Application to solicit or collect “personal information” from children under the age of 13 as that term is defined in the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, 15 U.S.C. 6501 et seq. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with personal information without the parent or guardian’s consent, he or she should contact us at [email protected]. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
6. Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Please be aware that, although we endeavor provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
7. Third Party Links
The Application may contain user links to websites other than our own. We have no control over these third party links, and do not assume responsibility or liability for any content, opinions, materials, or services available on them. We retain the right to disable user links from our website and app, but make no warranties that we will do so.
If you leave the Application and access a third party site or content linked from the Application, our Privacy Policy no longer governs your transaction.
It is your responsibility to review the privacy policy of any third party website that may be linked from the Application, and we encourage you to do so.
8. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. If the Privacy Policy is updated, we will post the date of the update at the top of the Privacy Policy.
