She explained:
My work is based on the phenomena Mitzvah Bikur Cholim, on a basic level, visiting the sick. When you perform this admirable Mitzvah you create an antidote for the patient, a medicine to cure any illness. I am not simply speaking about pills, no, I’m referring to a smile, the perfect remedy. I chose this Mitzvah as I feel it is inspirational and something that everyone can reach out to do, not only are you cheering the patient but you take on a G-dly representation and you ripple peace and unity through your community. Whether texting a friend when she’s ill or visiting an old age home with flowers your contribution is unforgettable in Heaven.
Tamara went on to explain:
I used Microsoft Office PowerPoint as it is simple and easily accessible, I also felt that the variety of animations, effects, emphasis, transitions are incredible.
When asked how she could launch this Mitzvah as a project in her school Tamara replied:
I am going to launch this Mitzvah by arranging several trips to old age homes and I’m going to make an assembly about the importance of this Mitzvah encouraging people the significance of even a text “Are you okay?” or “Missed you today.
