Ji Launches Home Learning Hub and Ji Bytes
Jewish Interactive (Ji), a Jewish EdTech nonprofit, has been working around the clock over the past few weeks to prepare an emergency plan to help support Jewish schools, teachers and parents across the world with their rapidly changing educational needs during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rabbi Yechiel Hoffman, Ji’s US Director shared, “Our EdTech experts are eager to do our part to support home learning during this pandemic. We are grateful that we have an established home learning platform, Ji Tap, which is used globally by thousands of teachers and students every week ready to provide schools and families. Ji is well-positioned to spring into action and support schools as they venture into uncharted teaching territories.”
Jewish Interactive’s educational resources, including our platform (with over 11,000 educational games) have seen a large spike in demand and usage in recent weeks with many new school accounts being created each day as more and more schools seek online solutions to continue to provide Jewish education to their students remotely. The support team has been working tirelessly to meet the needs of the many new users.
Home Learning Solutions
Ji appreciates the need to make things as simple as possible for our users at this time, bearing in mind the pressures faced all round. In response to a need for easily accessible quality online content, our development team has created a central Home Learning Hub to provide users with simple access to all our support and 100 online courses in one place.
Ji trainers have been running regular free training webinars and remote support sessions for schools, teachers, and parents and have trained hundreds of participants in over 25 countries in the past week. Many more sessions on a variety of topics are being offered in our Home Learning Hub.
Thanks to a generous donor, Ji is currently running a Passover game creation competition where you can win a MacBook – handy at the moment! Competition details here: https://www.jewishinteractive.org/pesach-competition-2020/
