Rachel’s parents were just told by her synagogue that her Jewish school cannot accommodate her. “We don’t have teachers who have been trained to work with students like Rachel, and no special programming to teach students with disabilities,” they hear from the principal. Her iPad has transformed her ability to communicate and learn – however when it comes to Jewish learning, Rachel has to sit at home, while her brother Ethan goes to Hebrew school.
Jewish Interactive has partnered with Beit Issie Shapiro, a center of excellence in the field of disabilities, pioneering new technologies, researching and collaborating globally. It’s now your chance to join this innovative and compelling project that is changing the lives of these children and their families. All we are missing is YOU!
Please give now to ensure that no Jewish child is left out of the Jewish educational world. Every $180 will allow for ONE new Jewish educational activity to be produced.
