They explained:
The mitzvah we chose was kashrut, we chose it because we decided that it is very important and we think that everyone should know and be aware about kashrut as it can really affect jewish souls. Our content was why we keep kosher, the reason we keep kosher, the different traditions of keeping kosher and how you prevent certain objects from turning up in your food.
we also looked at shechita b’dicka and m’lecha and touched on bugs and blood spots.
Izzy and Shoshana also said:
We used iMovie to create our project, adding applause and downloading content from an iPad.
We decided to use this tool as we used it in school for a lesson and we thought it would be quite appropriate.
When asked how they could launch this Mitzvah as a project in their school Izzy and Shoshana replied:
It makes people understand how important kashrut is and why you should keep it, who kept it and really how it can affect your health. It gives all-aged people good advice and a good understanding of just generally KASHRUT.
